Editor-in-Chief
Luna Hou (she/her) is is a senior majoring in English and minoring in creative writing and music. She’s also vice president of the Asian American Creative Writing Collective (AACWC) at UNC and is thrilled to be at the helm of Cellar Door this year.
When she isn’t writing, you can find her inhaling a dirty chai latte, scouring the poetry shelf at Prologue, or spoiling her roommates’ blind kitten Barnaby.
Treasurer
Carly Barello (she/her) is a junior majoring in Environmental Science and Statistics & Analytics interested in the renewable energy sector. She enjoys sewing in her free time, going outside on walks, and listening to her favorite artists Japanese Breakfast, Adrianne Lenker, or Fiona Apple.
She started as a part of the publicity team, and for a second year, she’s excited to continue to work in Cellar Door as Treasurer.
Poetry Editor
Boatemaa Agyeman-Mensah (she/her) is in her third year studying English Literature and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a poetry fanatic and currently serves as co-director of COUNTERCLOCK X PATCHWORK, a collaborative fellowship for poets and filmmakers. When not working with Cellar Door, she loves reading and listening to music.
Art Editor
Lizzie Herring (she/her) is a senior double majoring in Art History and English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. She has been a part of Cellar Door Art since 2022 and looks forward to leading the department in her last year at UNC.
When not reading, writing, and researching at UNC, Lizzie can be found in the Charleston Harbor and its surrounding marshes, swimming and crabbing with her brothers and her dog.
Fiction Editor
Liz Vaughan (they/them) is a senior majoring in English and creative writing and minoring in linguistics and composition, rhetoric, and digital literacy. They’re also on the leadership team of Back Page Creative Writing Club.
In their free time, they love reading genre fiction, playing the piano, and making fantasy-inspired jewelry. They’re very excited to continue contributing to the Cellar Door team this year.
Creative Nonfiction Editor
Rio Janisch (they/them) is a senior majoring in English and Comparative Literature and minoring in Creative Writing and Sexuality Studies. They are a big fan of memoirs and personal essay collections.
When they’re not working on Cellar Door, they can be found watching theatre performances, listening to podcasts, or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Design Editor
Savannah Bishop (she/her) is a sophomore studying Advertising/Public Relations and is super excited to be a part of Cellar Door this year.
When she’s not editing and designing, you can find her listening to music, playing the NYT games, or finding a good hike in the NC mountains!
Publicity Editor
Fiona Huang (she/her) is a sophomore double majoring in Public Policy and Statistics. She has been passionate about storytelling since her primary school days. She loves Ernest Hemingway, Francis Scott Fitzgerald and all other 1920s American writers who settled in Europe most.
When not contributing to Cellar Door, Fiona can be found eating ice cream, enjoying K-pop music, or working out at the gym.

Victoria Wlosok (she/her) is a senior majoring in English and Business Administration and minoring in Creative Writing. She is tremendously excited to join the Cellar Door staff this semester.
When she’s not editing the Cellar Door website, you can find her with her nose buried in a YA novel, coercing her freshman residents into completing their Roommate Agreements, or enjoying a sunny day on the quad.

Ben Mills (he/they) is a senior at UNC majoring in Information Science and minoring in Data Science and Creative Writing. He’s excited to be a part of the Cellar Door staff starting this semester.
When he’s not assisting with the Cellar Door website, he’s often reading fiction, piecing together a story of his own, playing tabletop or video games, or stealing the affection of his friends’ pets.
